Funding through the local NHS framework helps us provide the best services for you in terms of medical, surgical and cancer care. Our expenditure plans are clearly defined to enable us to meet our waiting list and other performance targets.
The role of fundraising is to provide the additional monies in specific areas that go beyond the Trust’s normal range of services. These may be large capital projects (such as a new treatment centre), funding for research, or smaller funds to provide additional equipment or to improve the care environment for patients, carers, relatives and visitors.
