Ashford and St Peter's Hospital's NHS Foundation Trust's colorectal service is provided by a dedicated team of consultants, senior doctors, specialist nurses, therapists and administration staff.
Our aim is to provide the highest possible quality of care for the local population and patients travelling out of area to access our specialist services. As part of the general surgery department the colorectal service provides care for planned and unplanned hospital care. We provide a broad range of services including:

- Trans anal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEMS)

A colorectal multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting runs weekly to discuss patients with complex , non cancer related disease.
The Colorectal cancer services are part of the Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire (SWSH) Cancer Network. The multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meet weekly to discuss all patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer. St Luke's Cancer Centre, Guildford is the regional cancer centre and from where our oncologists are based.

| Anorectal Physiology |
Anorectal Physiology is located at SPH and offers investigations and treatment for patients with pelvic floor problems such as faecal incontinence, constipation, IBS etc.
- Investigations include Anorectal Physiology; 3D Endoanal Ultrasound; Pudendal Nerve Terminal Motor Latencies; Rectal compliance and 3D Endorectal Ultrasound.
- Following investigations patients can attend clinics for either Biofeedback or Rectal Irrigation to treat their bowel problems. We also offer clinics for patients who have received an obstetric trauma (3rd/4th Degree tear) for investigations and treatment.
- Anorectal Physiology provides cognitive behavioural treatment with our clinical health psychologist.

Providing information and support for all patients and families diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Involved from diagnosis, through treatment and on to follow-up providing a nurse-led follow-up clinic for patient’s surveillance checks following on from their treatment. |
