  2. Total number of beds in your Trust?

    640

  3. What is the Trusts Capital spend for the last financial year for which you have audited accounts?

2009/10 purchased capital spend was £9.1m

2009/10 total Trust operating expenses were £216.0m

  6. What percentage of this was spent by your Information Technology department?

The Information Department cost £2.8m (pay £1.9m and non-pay £0.9m). However, it should be borne in mind that this is not necessarily all related to Information Technology and (ii) there is non-pay expenditure on IT in other departments (e.g. the Finance Department bears the cost of the finance system etc).

The Trust currently stores nearly half a million Health Care Records in multiple locations across Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals. There are a further 300,000 in an off-site storage facility provided by Iron Mountain.

  8. What is the name of the trust current patient Administration System?

Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust use iSOFT’s Clinicom/Patient Centre Patient Administration System (PAS).
