Fake Email Warning
The Trust has recently received a number of emails from international applicants saying that they have received a job offer, questionnaire or asked for payment for a position / interview at Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust.
These have not come from the Trust and we would advise any individual to be careful when responding to these offers. Do not pay any money in advance or give out personal details.
Please double check that the email address used is @asph.nhs.uk as this identifies that the message has come from an official NHS organisation. We would never use a commercial extension such as GMail.
Also make sure that any telephone or fax numbers use the digits 01932 72 (plus a 4 digit extension number). This identifies a direct line to a department at St. Peter’s Hospital. We would not use a mobile contact number (beginning with 7).
We have also noticed that the address gives the impression that the hospital is in London. This would not be used in any of the Trust’s communications as we are outside the geographic boundary of the city.
The Trust is not responsible for these emails or for any loss as a result of them. We have contacted the relevant authorities to resolve this issue.
