There are two main benefits of becoming a Foundation Trust:
- We want to ensure that we provide the right care and high quality of services for our local community. This means fully understanding what the community require, and listening and involving patients, their carers, local people and our staff.
- We can reinvest any surpluses of income that we generate back into our Trust. This would give us greater control in running our finances and shaping the future of our organisation - which in turn will maximise benefits to our patients.
