We would be delighted to look after your patient with severe acute injury or problems with fracture union.
We have no Plastic service on site but have links with local Plastic units. So, patients who may require flaps need to understand that they may have to be transferred.
You are welcome to ring the On Call Orthopaedic Team at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Trust 24hrs on 01932 872 000 Bleep 940/941 and discuss your patient.
May we request that you complete the Referral Form and either fax or email it to us as this will help plan overall management. Please do not forget to add the details of a contact point.

Patients need to understand that transfers will happen when a bed is available and unfortunately, we cannot promise an exact date of operation.
In the majority, patients are sent home when they are able to mobilise and look after themselves usually in about 7-10 days. Occasionally, patients are discharged back to the referral hospital for longer rehab such as patients with bilateral frames.
