Trust Announces 2007 Board Meeting Dates

The Board of Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust meets regularly in public on both hospital sites and the Trust has announced that it will be holding Board meetings as follows during 2007:

 

·          Thursday 25th January in the Lecture Theatre, Ramp, St. Peter’s Hospital

 

·          Thursday 29th March in the Dining Room, Education Centre, Ashford Hospital

 

·          Thursday 31st May in the Lecture Theatre, Ramp, St. Peter’s Hospital

 

·          Thursday 26th July in the Dining Room, Education Centre, Ashford Hospital

 

·          Thursday 27th September in the Lecture Theatre, Ramp, St. Peter’s Hospital

 

·          Thursday 29th November in the Dining Room, Education Centre, Ashford Hospital

 

 

All meetings start at 2.00pm and members of the public are welcome to attend.   Copies of the Board meeting papers are available at the back of the meeting room half an hour before meeting starts or can be obtained in advance by telephoning 01932-722217 or by e-mailing  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Trust Chairman, Clive Thompson CBE, commented:

 

“Board meetings are an opportunity for members of the public to hear about progress at their two hospitals and see decisions being taken.   2007 will be an important year for the Trust with a number of challenges to meet and decisions about how the Trust should respond to the keenly anticipated consultation on the future of health services across Surrey.

 

“Although the meetings are ‘in public’ rather than ‘public meetings’ we welcome comments and suggestions from members of the public at the end of each meeting.  However for the Board members to give time and detailed responses to the issues raised it is helpful if questions can be sent to us at least two working days before each meeting.   Questions and comments can be sent to the Chief Executive, telephoned on 01932-722217 or sent by e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
