Some of the services provided by volunteers are outlined on pages 7 and 9 and on pages 41, 43 to 45, 47 to 49, 51 and 53 there are profiles of individual volunteers and the many different roles people undertake for the two hospitals. Commenting on the publication of the 2007 Magazine Voluntary Services Manager Karen Marsden says: “This publication, made possible through the generosity of our advertisers, gives us the opportunity to highlight our good fortune in having the commitment and support of many members of the local community to help patients, visitors and staff. We are very grateful for this support and hope, in return, that all our volunteers gain enjoyment and satisfaction from being part of a large team working with the same aims in mind – the wellbeing of our patients.” Any one interested in finding out more about volunteering at Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals can contact Karen on 01784-884227 at |
