Fancy an evening of stirring music, interspersed with some of the first carols of the festive season?

Then make your way to St. Hilda’s Church Hall, Woodthorpe Road, Ashford, at 7.30pm on Saturday 24 November and for £6 you can listen to the Staines Brass Band, sing along with them and enjoy a glass of wine and light refreshments.

The added bonus will be that you are supporting the Ashford Hospital League of Friends who are organising the event. Tickets can be bought on the door or from the League of Friends at Ashford Hospital.

Said Chairman Eric Molinari: “We know the band well and they will be catering for everybody with stirring military marching music to get the feet tapping, music from the shows as well as carols as the festive season approaches.  The church can seat more than 300 and so there should be room for people making a last minute decision on the day.
