Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust Chairman, Clive Thompson CBE, commented:

“Board meetings are an opportunity for members of the public to hear about progress at their two hospitals and see decisions being taken.   This year is significant for the Trust and we have a number of challenges to meet and important decisions to make about the Trust’s future.

“Although the meetings are ‘in public’ rather than ‘public meetings’ we welcome comments and suggestions from members of the public at the end of each meeting.  However for the Board members to give time and detailed responses to the issues raised it is helpful if questions can be sent to us at least two working days before each meeting.   Questions and comments can be sent to the Chief Executive, telephoned on 01932-722217 or sent by e-mail to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
