Report on diabetes attributable deaths highlights the major issue of diabetes says Ashford and St. Peter's hospitals |

Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Trust has welcomed the report 'Diabetes Attributable Deaths' by the Public Health Observatory (Yorkshire and Humber) which shows that one in ten deaths among 20 to 79 year olds in the South East are attributable to diabetes. Ashford and St. Peter's serves over 400,000 people living in the boroughs of Elmbridge, Hounslow, Runnymede, Surrey Heath, Spelthorne and Woking and also has patients attending the hospitals from the eastern fringe of Berkshire.
