Christmas Day saw the birth of nine babies locally – eight of them at St. Peter’s Hospital. Five boys and four girls were born between 02.44hrs and 23.28hrs. The first, a girl, was born in the early hours to a Woking family. Second was a daughter weighing 7lbs and born at 05.06hrs for Louise Diggens of Staines. Third was a home delivery by a community midwife. Baby boy, Canaan Will Chong, was born at home in Egham weighing 8lbs 3oz at 06.40hrs. The son of Jessica and Chris Chong, he is a brother for their daughter, Evangelyn. Next was baby was a boy Parmar Tanwar born to Meenakshi Tanwar of Knaphill at 06.50hrs weighing 4lbs 13oz, followed at 08.56hrs by Joshua Boone-Tang weighing 6lb 14oz, a first child for Vicki Boone and her husband of Knaphill. At 11.48 hrs Shamema Miah of West Molsey gave birth to a baby boy weighing 7lbs 14oz. The next to be born was a baby girl weighing 9lbs 40z for Nadia Shafiq of Feltham at 17.01 hrs followed at 20.33hrs by a baby boy, Joshua, born to Emma Pateman of Sunbury weighing 7lbs 6oz.. The last baby to be born on Christmas Day was a girl, Rushda Nazeer born at 23.28hrs weighing 6lbs 4oz the daughter of Tarannum Nazeer of Woking. On Christmas Day 2008 there were 13 babies born at St. Peter’s Hospital. |
