Pictured outside their school are youngsters from St. Paul’s Church of England Primary School, Addlestone, who organised a cake sale to raise funds for the Coronary Care Unit at the Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Trust.
![]() They are seen here (left to right) presenting a cheque to staff nurse Honey Redmond who said: “In September 2008, the father of one of the children pictured was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit at St Peter’s Hospital Chertsey, following a heart attack. This was a great shock to her and her friends, so they decided to raise some money for the CCU fund, as the nurses had looked after her father so well. A cake stall was organised by the girls at St Paul’s School, Addlestone and £27.80 was raised by Victoria, Jessica, Olivia, Libby and Skye. We were all touched by their kindness and really pleased that their cake stall was such a success.”
