The Stephanie Marks Appeal aims to raise funds to provide first-class local accessibility to diabetes treatment, education and research, in a ground breaking ’hub and spoke’ model of care. Plans are underway for a new centre to be built within the grounds of St Peter’s Hosptial, Chertsey, Surrey. The centre will link with satellite GP clinics throughout North Surrey and Outer London, serving a catchment area of 450,000 people. The proposed model of care will provide a rapidly accessed high quality service leading to true patient empowerment.
