Patients with diabetes who are admitted to hospital with diabetes related reasons are usually looked after on Maple Ward at St Peter's Hospital.
We have three Diabetes Specialist Nurses (DSNs) providing support and care for all people with diabetes who are admitted to our hospitals. The DSNs cover both St Peter's Hospital and Ashford Hospital (Mon - Fri). Our DSNs support other healthcare professionals and patients to ensure safe discharge planning.
