Services Provided
The gastroenterology service includes purpose built endoscopy suites and offers:
  • Direct access gastroscopy
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy
  • Banding and sclerotherapy for oesophageal varices
  • Oesophageal dilatation and stenting
  • Injection of bleeding ulcers and ethanol necrosis of tumours
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP including sphincterotomy and stenting
  • Oesophageal function testing
  • Breath testing for bacterial overgrowth and Helicobacter
  • Inflammatory bowel disease clinic
  • Liver and biliary clinic
